- They have more powerful inbuilt graphic card
Another advantage of having AMD processor is that the inbuilt graphic card that you get with the processor for example 5600g which is ryzen 5 series processor has inbuilt graphic card of Vega 7 cores are actually at least twice as powerful as Intel inbuilt graphic card that you get which is UHD 730 and you can also do video editing and little bit of gaming as well with the inbuilt graphic card of the ryzen processor.

Another advantage of having AMD processor is that you can easily switch to and upgrade to the higher level of processes whenever you want because for example in the ryzen 5 series processor, the socket size is amd am4 platform and the motherboards that are compatible with ryzen 5 series processors are b550 and b450 so you can always upgrade your processor without changing the motherboard whenever you want in future depending up on your need
but if you want to change the processor to a higher generation in Intel processors then you also have to change the motherboard because the socket type and size it also change with the increasing generation of Intel which is the bad thing I believe when we compare it with ryzen processors so you will have to spend more money if you want to upgrade your processor to higher level in Intel as compared to ryzen because the motherboard will be same in ryzen 5 series.

Another advantage of choosing ryzen processors are that majority of the processors are overclockable which means you can increase the clock speed of the processor depending upon your need and usage of the computer and you won’t get bottle neck with your computer which is the really big advantage for people who use their computer extensively and want faster performance from their computer because if you want to purchase overclockable processor in Intel then you will have to spend more money but in ryzen, more than 80% of the processes are overclockable.

Another advantage of ryzen processes are that they are very power efficient as compared to Intel processors because first of all the ryzen 5 series processors which is based on Zen 3 architecture has 7 nanometer structure of the transistors in the processor which means they have smaller transistor size in the processor so they are more power efficient and generate less heat at the same time give better performance but still in Intel 12th generation, there is only 10 nanometer architecture available so this is also a big advantage.
And because of this the AMD processors are actually very good for both gaming as well as video editing purposes like productivity tasks.

Disadvantages of using AMD processors
- It is not very popular
The main disadvantage of choosing ryzen processor in my view is that they are not very popular when we compare it with intel processors, still the ryzen processors need to work on marketing and advertising Alot because they are not very trustworthy and credible for majority of the users compared to Intel processors so in terms of disadvantages, popularity and credibility is a big issue with this processor.
